Built inside a working firm

CPARun didn't start as a pitch deck. It started as the software an accounting practice needed to run itself — and it's being proven on real books before it's sold to anyone else.

Most practice-management software is built by software companies and sold to accountants. CPARun is the reverse: it's built by a firm that lives the month-end close, the client chase, and the onboarding slog, and wants those things to simply happen.

Our thesis is “control without effort.” The firm owner should supervise the work, not perform it. That means the platform has to do the operational core — bookkeeping, month-end review, client requests, workflows — and ask for a human only where judgment is genuinely required.

CPARun is the vendor; Delrio & Co is the first firm running on it. Everything is tuned against real firm data before it reaches anyone else, so what you see in a demo is what actually runs — not a staged environment.

What we believe

  • Onboarding is the vendor's job, not the buyer's
  • AI should do the work and flag exceptions, not just chat
  • Client PII never belongs in an AI prompt in the clear
  • Every automated action must be logged and reversible
  • Software for accountants should be proven on real books first
